Chateau Les Chambres by DimitriKING Chateau Les Chambres by DimitriKING
This former hotel/restaurant is now abandoned. The property surrounded is now a location for airsofters.
Getting in was easy, but getting out was tricky.
They don't like Urbexers. ;)

(More to come,.. Processing is a b**** :))

I would love to use this as a 'photo-merge' with one of my model portraits. I have a beautiful young lady in a yellow 1930's style dress that would look perfect standing by the door or windows!

awesome. i might have cropped the bottom differently; the couch being clipped is a little annoying. wonderful room though. did you shoot anything else here?

why that? i heard there are people playing soft air?

Yes, that is the reason.
The son in law of the owner orginize these "little wars", and he does not appriciates outlaws.
So the meening "trespassers will be shot" gets a new dimension in this location.
We had to stay 1h longer because the were playing in the surrounding woods, eventualy it was lunch time, so we could sneek out,....

Ist made with a 8-16mm Sigma lens. Great one for interiors :)

Thanks... I have a 10-20 Sigma but the distortion is always very heavy and the lens is not so sharp. Did you correct the distortion in PS or the 8-16 has few distortion?

I did not do any correction. The trick here is to get an position to mask the distortion.
Try to avoid close by object and stuff in your corners.
In this shot i managed that, but many times i dont ;)

And there is no way to build a 8 or 10mm without barrel distortion, unfortunaly.
